Need some dinner recs near Glimmerglass in Cooperstown area for first trip to the area...

Are there any restaurants that are better than average? Can't find much written in guidebooks so would appreciate any help you can offer

We were there in April and loved Alex & Ika. Best mac and cheese I've had in a long time, and my husband raved about the enchiladas. Doesn't look like much because the kitchen is in the front -- you have to walk around the side to get in the dining room.

Friends who have a cabin in the area highly recommended the Yum Yum Shack south of town, but it had not opened for the season yet when we were there.

+1 Alex and Ika. Moved from Cherry Valley a few years back. Even then, it was worht the drive from C'town.
