What am I doing wrong?

I just joined this site & i've been trying to reply to a couple of posts in the New Jersey section. When I click on reply.....nothing happens.....it just moves to the top of the page. Is there a secret to being able to post a reply?

That sounds like it's most likely a problem with your javascript settings in your browser -- either your browser is set to not allow scripts to run, or you're running a script blocker that's not allowing the script that generates the reply box to run.

You probably can't reply here, but if you want to send an email to [e-mail], we can either try to help you figure it out, or pass your question along to Engineering.

The Reply box and the Reply to Original Post are in 2 different areas. Click on Reply and you'll get a reply box directly under that post. Click on Reply to Original Poat and the reply box does indeed go up directly under the original post (OP). In both cases the word Reply should appear in the upper left and your cursor should be pulsing in the box.

Good for you for starting a thread though. Many people can't even do that.

Sometimes there's a glitch. If this happens to me, I try a different browser and that usually fixes it. I tend to switch between safari and firefox (if on a mac, and internet explorer and firefox if on a pc).

"Reply" and "Reply to original post" (bottom of messages thread) work differently.
The latter sometimes requires a second click, at least for me.
