Cocktails featuring demerara rum

i just went on a rum run and bought Martinique and Jamaican rums for mai tais. I also picked up a bottle of Demerara rum (Lemon Hart 151) but I don't really know what to do with it. It's a bit strong for sipping. Does anyone have ideas for cocktails that feature the flavor? I've browsed the tiki blogs, but I haven't found anything that tickled my fancy.

Beachbum Berry's Hart of Darkness, published in "Beachbum Berry Remixed," is one of my favorite drinks for LH151:

1/2 oz lime juice
1/2 oz passion fruit syrup
1/2 oz honey mix (50/50 honey/water)
3/4 oz soda water
1 1/2 oz LH 151
1/4 oz lemon juice
8 oz crushed ice

Blend everything for 5 seconds in a blender*. Pour into a tall glass, add additional ice to fill.

* Note: Berry recommends using the blender for most drinks, but I don't like breaking mine out too often so I substitute a 15-20 second hard shake.

Consider yourself lucky to find LH 151. I can't get it here. If using it for mai tai's, use it as a float on top
