Coscto no longer selling Fage?

goodhealthgourmet Jun 25, 2011 09:59 AM

just got off the phone with Mom, she told me that their location back in NJ has replaced Fage with a new Kirkland Greek-style yogurt. anyone else run into this? she said it's more sour than Fage (and she & Dad aren't happy about that).

i'll have to check at my store here in LA, but i was just wondering if any of you Hounds had noticed the switch and tried the Kirkland...

The Costco in my hood carries both.

thanks to all of you for the replies. hopefully they won't phase out Fage and end up only offering the Kirkland, but i actually like sour yogurt so i may give it a whirl myself.

They have both at the Costco in Hazlet, NJ. The Kirkland was delicious; thick and sour.

thanks, just called Mom and told her to *ask* someone where they moved the Fage to when she goes tomorrow. and i need to pick up some of that Kirkland the next time i'm there - thick & sour works for me!

I was at my COSTCO this week in King of Prussia, PA and oddly enough I was looking for the Fage brand and noticed the Kirkland brand of Greek Yogurt. I found thr Fage, also. But, I was actuallly thinking they may utimately switch out all of the Fage for Kirkland. UGH.

I was at the one in Alhambra, and they still had them.

The stuff in the fridge always gets moved around. I think the only thing that stays put are the eggs.

The egg/milk corner IS pretty much the only constant. The strategy is to keep make you walk the aisles and I fall for it every visit.
