Best Burger/Pizza in Ithaca (and any other rec;s)

Been visiting in Ithaca for about a week now. Might stay a few more days and was wondering if anyone had any redcommendations. This time around we went to the Boatyard and had a pretty good meal with awful service. I got a pie from Collegetown Pizza that was OK. Toppings were good and plentiful, but I didn't realize the pizza was so thin and didn't ask for it well done. The crust basically just fell apart. In the past, I've been to Taste of Thai (very good), Glenwood Pines (heard the burger was good but went another direction and was let down) and the now defunct Dijon, which served one of probably the 10-20 best restaurant meals I've ever had.

So any suggestions for
Burger?
Pizza?
Other?

Can't say I'm a big fan of the Glenwood Pines burger, but tastes vary.
Check out the North Star Pub at 202 East Falls St. They have an excellent burger - don't miss their fries, either. Good selection of microbrews and wine too.

My tastes are very similar to my father's and he said North Star is very mediocre across the board and not exactly cheap. He did mention they have a nice beer selection though.

Go back to Glenwood Pines and get the Pinesburger, it's worth it. I can't think of any other great burger places though. My favorite pizza place is now closed, but Sammy's on the Commons is pretty good. Unfortunately nothing in Ithaca really compares to anything in the NY tri-state area. Just a Taste has great tapas/small plates. Viva Cantina has pretty good fresh Mexican. For an interesting place to have a drink or two, try Corks and More, its a serve yourself wine bar (you get a card and then go around to dispensers, you can get a taste, half glass, or full glass) with a really nice atmosphere, they also have some snacks and apps there but I haven't tried any.

Thnaks for the tip about Corks and More. My father lives here and would love a place like that. He's a wine fanatic. Live at Sparrow's, haa!

I might actually try Glenwood tomorrow. although my father is pushing Tamarind for lunch.
