Roadfood off Rt. 90 near Albany?
We're travelling from Boston to Buffalo, and will want to stop near the highway for lunch. Any suggestions between Albany and Syracuse? Nothing fancy, but GOOD. We may be in the mood for a late breakfast, depending on what time we leave home and traffic. We really don't want to go too far off the highway, as it's already a long trip!
Thanks in advance!

I'm going to suggest you try Stuyvesant Plaza. http://www.stuyvesantplaza.com/eateries.htm
It's only about 1.6 miles off I 90, has easy access to and from the toll-free section of 90, and offers a good choice of food options.
Maybe the only late-breakfast bet there would be Peaches Cafe. http://www.peachescafe.net/
)
It opens at 8:30 am daily (8 am SundaysProvence opens daily at 11:30 (10:30 Sundays)
Londonderry Cafe opens daily at 11 am (10 am Sundays)
Creo opens daily at 11:30 am (10 am Sundays) http://www.creorestaurant.com/index.p...
The first link above lists other establishments also, but I'm guessing they may not be what you are looking for.
For directions, while heading west on I90 and approaching I87 The Northway, take exit 1S to rt. 20, Western Av. Turn left on rt 20 east, Western Av. Stuyvesant Plaza will be on your left after about 0.1 miles.
Hopefully, others will offer some additional suggestions or reaffirm these. Let us know how you make out.
