Kocho kaiseki restaurant Tokyo - still around?
I read this text from a travel guide online. It's from 1996. Does anyone now if this restaurant is still open and if so if its any good:
"KOCHO, Shin Yurakucho Building B1-2, 1-12-1 Yurakucho, Chiyoda-Ku, Tokyo. Tel. 3214-4741 (B2), 3214-4746 (B1). Hours 11 A.M. - 2 P.M., 5 - 9 P.M. Closed Sunday & Holidays. If you can't wrangle the introduction necessary for dining at the prestigious, exclusive and very expensive Kitcho, Kocho is a very acceptable alernative. Deep in the basement of a central Tokyo building, your excellent kaiseki meal will be served in a thatch-roofed dining area surrounded by bamboo groves and a pond full of majestic carp. Here lunch is from JPY 25.000 and dinner from JPY 52.000. On the B1 floor is a more casual area serving slightly less refined kaiseki cuisine."
