Saturday Lunch NYC
I am looking for a great place for lunch on a Saturday. Some place fun and crowded. I am not looking for anything fancy or formal with a pre-fix menu... Just some place that is lively with great food. I don't mind if it is expensive as long as the food is good. I think I am going to Budakan for dinner so I am probably going to stay away from Asian food for lunch. I am staying in midtown, but have no problem going anywhere in the city. Thanks!

Lunch or brunch? Many restaurants will be serving brunch, some from early in the day until 3 or 4pm.
What's the most you're willings to spend before tax, tips, drinks/wine? Do you mind a long wait?

Lunch or Brunch - Doesn't really matter. Before tax, tips, drinks/wine I would be willing to spend $50/person if the place looked really great, but preferably less. I don't mind a wait, but I do mind an excessively long wait... I am only in town for 3 days so I don't want to spend too long waiting in line.

re: kathryn
I guess I prefer lunch over brunch... I am still trying to figure out all of my meals so I don't know what my itinerary is yet. A diverse menu would be nice, but I have no specific cuisine that I'm looking for that Saturday. No worries if this isn't enough information to go on
