Just looking for some good food in the Inland Empire

I have some friends coming in from out of town and I'm hoping to find a couple of decent restaurants (we used to all live in San Francisco at one time) to take them to. I've been to Mario's in Riverside countless times and while it's along the lines of what I'm looking for, I've already memorized their menu and am needing something along the same lines in terms of quality/price. Luckily we are all omnivorous. Please help a girl in the wilderness.

  1. Get some meat at the Sycamore Inn.

That report is dated. The last time I went there, two months ago, back in Jan, the steaks were terrible.

For our party of five, only one of the steaks was cooked correctly. I get my steaks well done. I do not want to see anything red running off the steaks. My steak was over run by red. I sent it back and got got a steak cooked medium.

Last time I went to Woody's in Rancho, I noticed an Omaha Jack's Steakhouse in the same shopping center. I haven't been there but almost anything can be better than Sycamore.

Le Rendez-vouz in North San Bernardino is a French restaurant that has very good food and service, try the peppercorn steak and their spinach salad, also they have a nice selection of wines.
