Wedding reception venue in north GTA (airport, Vaughn, Woodbridge, Caledon, Aurora, etc.)
If you got invited to a wedding dinner in the 'burbs, which venue would get your mouth watering? Which banquet halls have the tastiest, Chow-worthy food? I've heard good things about Royal Ambassador in Caledon East, Paramount (or any Peter and Paul's), Royalton, Waterside Inn in Port Credit, and The Mansion (formerly DiNardi's Mansion) in Aurora or any ClubLink golf courses (e.g. Station Creek in Gormley). Any current opinions if you've been to these (or any in the 'burbs) in the past year? Looking for Italian with fresh oysters, yummy desserts, terrific pork roast for late-night buffet station, wonderful passed hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, perfect seafood, upscale pasta, amazing veal or beef main course, etc. Free or cheap parking is a bonus.

I've had great Greek and Italian food at several events at Paramount in Woodbridge. They can set up a risotto bar, nice selection of antipasti, fried calamari (that's replenished frequently) and grilled lamb chops. They'll also do less common dishes such as kleftiko. Paramount has woodburning ovens near the foyer of each hall, if you like the idea of flatcrust pizzas. I've also been to one event where they grilled lamb chops outside. I've seen them set up a yogurt bar with honey/nuts/various toppings and offer mini-gyros at midnight at another wedding. Usually the pasta course includes 2 different pastas with 2 different sauces, in my experience.
Haven't had oysters at Paramount, but I'm sure they would be able to source them. I have had good scallops and calamari at Paramount.
They're very flexible with regards to menus, especially if you're willing to splurge. If you do try out Paramount, definitely stick with the Italian/Greek/Mediterranean options- it's what they do best. Paramount is my favourite of the all the GTA banquet halls I've visited over the last 5 years.

I've also enjoyed the Antipasti Bar at Paradise Halls. http://paradisebanquethalls.com/
