Restaurant link won't come up in box
I'm trying to add a link in a post to a place that is in the data base, but it won't come up when I type it into the "manage my links box" -- is there an alternate way to generate the place link?

No, there isn't. Can you provide a URL for the restaurant you're trying to link and also mention which board you're trying to link it on?

Trying to add link to: http://www.chow.com/restaurants/10986... to a post on the SF board. It doesn't come up when I search the restaurant database directly, either -- El Norteno comes up instead. The only time it comes up is when I try to add the restaurant to the database and it tells me it's a duplicate record.

It doesn't have a zip code or state, which is likely the problem. I've added them, and they may be linkable right away or it may take a day or so (some updates happen immediately, some in a batch job periodically, and I'm not sure whether this is a batch situation).
