Any suggestions close to midtown where a large group ranging from ages 23 to 65 can go for a good brunch with LOTS of food options? We can't chance just showing up and waiting around somewhere ...so we need to be able to make reservations.

Brasserie 8 1/2 or the Water Club (requires a taxi)

Molyvos, the excellent Greek restaurant, serves both a brunch menu and their regular lunch menu. They can accommodate a group your size. You would have to make the reservation over the phone.

How about Landmarc at the Time Warner Center? I just tried for 6/26 at 10, and they still had availability on OpenTable for 10am and 12pm.

Lincoln won't be brunchy enough for my crowd and while Landmarc looks good....I don't want to have to go all the way down to Tribecca.
Is there anything closer to midtown that you can recommend?

There's a Landmarc at the Time Warner Center, at Columbus Circle.

You should call Artisanal ( 33rd St. between Park & Madison) to see if they can accommodate a table for 10; I've seen large tables at Artisanal. They have a very good menu (a lot of choices from "brunchy" to more savory). Check their website www.artisanalbistro.com.

Lincoln has a broad mix of brunch and lunch items priced at $28 per person for two savory courses not including dessert. You can make reservations through Opentable or over the phone.

That particular dish is very good, though a modestly sized serving. The other egg dish, uova al pomodoro, is rather ordinary. I have not tried the fritatta with asparagus and mushrooms.
