Best Steak Place?
My husband and I will be in Vegas in a few weeks. We plan on going to Julian Serrano, Lotus of Siam, and want a steak for our 3rd dinner. Any recommendations? We are staying at Aria. Thanks!!

I completely agree with chris2269- Cut is fantastic. As he said, the steaks are incredible, the sides are far above average (they always have a few delicious seasonal vegetable dishes that are not-to-be-missed) and the atmosphere is hip and contemporary unlike a lot of other steakhouses. I have had nothing but the best service there, and out of three visits, I've yet to be disappointed.
I can't stand CUT. It's noisy, pretentious, and oh-so-touristy-hip. ("So, Doris -- may I call you Doris? -- how do you like living in Orange County?") The steaks and sides, while very good (except for the wagyū, which reaches beyond fatty to greasy), are extremely expensive, and the service ranges over noisy, pretentious, oh-so-touristy-hip, and greasy. (Bring a wet wipe.)
I much prefer Charlie Palmer Steak. Outstanding food (the foie gras appetizer is excellent, BTW), and the service is not only competent but professional. Bonus: it's in the Four Seasons, a non-casino hotel.

Is this directed at me?
Someone asked for a steak rec in Vegas. I have eaten at CUT and had a great meal and time.
Somehow you seem to have blown a gasket. I like Charlie Palmer as well. Never eaten at the Vegas location but do enjoy ...wait for it Charlie Palmer at Bloomingdales. gasp in Orange County.
BTW I live in San Diego
One thing we have here in abundance is great steak places. My go-to continues to be Prime at the Bellagio, but your mileage may vary.
