Langoustines at Costco
Was in Costco on 75 yestereday and was perusing the fish case and noticed that they had Langoustine tails (prev. frozed) for $11/lb so i thought what the heck. Not bad and something differnt. I don't know about the provenace of them, but they were pretty good and something different. I cooked with past as they were smallish. Just thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone was interested.

JR
Just up the road about .5 mile is 99 Ranch and their fish counter is actually pretty solid. I have had good luck with their Ecuadoran head on farm raised shrimp. They keep them clean and aren't gritty. This past weekend they had a sale on Brazilian Snapper for $3.99/lb and the Mexican farm raised were $6.99/lb. They offer several different cleaning services; scale only, scale and tail cut, scale and head and tail cut, and they offer cooking (fried for fish and steam for crabs) if you would like that also
