Tokyo beer gardens and festivals
So has anyone heard of any interesting-sounding beer gardens this summer? Tokyo Time Out lists a number of places, although they have a rather broad definition of beer garden.

Also there are a number of Oktoberfest parties coming up in Tokyo - Yoyogi Park in July, Shiba-Koen in August and Toyosu in September:

I passed the Forest Beer Garden in Shinanomachi the other night and the aroma of grilled lamb was quite enticing! Grilled lamb is the specialty there, with a platter of three different cuts of lamb and vegetables (enough for 3-4 people) for Y3780. There's also a mixed BBQ nomihodai tabehodai deal for Y4000/Y3800 per man/woman, and plenty of a la carte options.
The beer garden is located just inside the park next to Shinanomachi station, and it has seating for 1,000 people. It's open nightly from 5-10pm (LO 9pm) until September 24, 2011.

On the other hand, the variety and range of beers put on some piquant charm, so this week, I have decided to try, for the first time, Lions Ginza 7-Chome beer garden. But I have been hit by the price, especially, I couldn't understand the 6 sausages set at 2280yens !
