Summer sake

Summer sake is already out - with the cool blue bottles. Last night I had a nice Tedorigawa and another I already can't remember (at a terrific little place in Ochanomizu). What are you excited to drink this year, and where are you going for it?

I wish like you would not believe that I was making my annual summer trip to Japan this year (put off till October) so that I could comment on this thread. The lack of Sake, summer or otherwise, is killing me. Literally killing me.

In general I have been dreaming of trying Watari Bune. I miraculously have never tried this Sake or any from Huchu Homare Shuzo and feel that I am an @$$ for not doing so.

Please report back on the summer Sake selections that I may live vicariously through you.

I'll look for Wataribune for you. Last night had summer sake from Izumibashi, the guys who do the labels with brightly-colored dragonflys and bugs. Another nice place, in Shibuya this time.

Lemme know what you think of it!

I've seen Izumibashi (from Kanagawa I think) but I've never tried it. Just looking it over in my Sake Encyclopedia here. Sounds like some good stuff.
