Asian Cajun Craze Invades Gardena
Is any Asian neighborhood safe from the Cajun craze? Sometime last year, the strangely named Best Crab House Man Ri Hyang Chinese Restaurant came into existence. This isn't Boiling Crab, as there are only a few Cajun items (lobster, crab, shrimp) cooked in their Louisiana sauce, and no Cajun side dishes. Also while there are the scrawled walls like the Asian Cajuns in Westminster and the SGV, there's no other fishing boat paraphernalia. The rest of the menu is Chinese (Korean) with favorites like sweet and sour beef and noodles in bean sauce. Best Crab House Man Ri Hyang is located at 15140 S. Western Ave.
re: reality check
I think you'd go to Boiling Crab or Crabulous for the true culinary experience, but there are reasons to go to the wannabees. It's a long way from Gardena to Alhambra, so there's the convenience factor. Also you might not want to put up with the wait at Boiling Crab. Or perhaps the wannabee has different menu items, e.g. cajun fried rice.

I went with some friends last year (they live nearby and they love Boiling Crab), and I remember it being pretty decent. I'd go back if I were in the neighborhood...
