Greek Theater - looking for new ideas
My concert-going friends and I find ourselves a little tired of our standby pre-Greek show options. We often do Mozza-to-Go tailgates or eat and drink (fast) at Mexico City or Little Doms.
Would love to hear any other ideas.

Yes - Barbrix on Hyperion.
We were just there before a Greek Theater show last week and had a fantastic meal. Staff is excellent, food came out instantly and was great, wine was fab and well priced. I am bummed it is so far away from where I live!! We will be back regardless of shows at the Greek - it is worth a trip. Really great in every respect, its a no brainer.

I usually just pick up something to go and eat it at the park. Especially during the summer months, when it will still be light out, you can just stop at the picnic tables on the way down from your parking spot. Just don't stop at any tables next to dusty, dirt roads.
Since I'm coming from the SGV, I usually end up with some kind of sandwiches, either vietnamese, cook's tortas, or sandwiches and empanadas from tito's market.

If you are bringing your own wine, get takeout from The Sidewalk Grill on Vermont just north of the BofA. Superb fast casual, yet cooked to order, Persian food.
Great skewers of either filet mignon, chicken or salmon. sides equally good.
www.thesidewalkgrill.com for details. Nicest owners and staff, btw.-----
