Best brunch buffet?

Hi everyone!

Can anyone recommend me some best weekend (either on Sat. or Sun.) brunch buffet restaurants in NYC? I am particularly looking for upscale places (perhaps at a hotel?), preferably with nice views and lots of desserts. :)

After years of loving brunch buffets, I've come to the conclusion that the best buffet is the one not taken. Go to a great breakfast place -- maybe Nougatine on the high end, or Cookshop, or Clinton St. Baking Co. -- and, if it's variety you want, order two things instead of just one (huevos rancheros and the blueberry pancakes at Clinton St.). The food's gonna be better, and the price more reasonable, than any high end breakfast buffet, where they need to charge you a ridiculous price to justify the high end selection being offered. Just my two cent.s

I don't think there are many decent brunch buffets in NYC. The only upscale one I know of is Brasserie 8 1/2. Not really my thing but the food is very fresh and plentiful with carving and omelette stations as well as a huge dessert bar. No views but a lovely, posh room.
