Lebanese Baklava - help me find it!

foodie1165 Jun 20, 2011 05:27 PM

I had the most delicious baklava at Zena's Lebanese Cuisine on N. Tustin in Orange. It was amazing - honey thinned with rosewater, pistachios instead of walnuts, flaky, crispy phyllo....where can I get something like this near downtown LA?

Mezza in Culver City serves Lebanese baklava with an amazing ashta.

You should make a pilgrimage to The Baklava Factory on Sherman Way just west of Coldwater Cyn. I know it's the Valley, but your wildest dreams will come true.

I've had really delicious baklava at Marouch (Lebanese/Armenian), but I honestly can't recall if the nuts were walnuts or pistachios. www.marouchrestaurant.com

Just reporting back to say Marouch makes its baklava with walnuts, pistachios & pine nuts. It's awesome!
