The Pita Spot: Delicious Middle Eastern in Mystic 06/2011

We were very happy to have this succulent food accompany us for on-the-go lunches during our mini vacation on the CT shore this past week. We particularly liked the chicken and lamb/beef shwarmas- with garlic sauce, and the mousskaa- eggplant, tomato, chickpea salad.

Thanks you so much,joey , for raving this place! Excellent food and the nicest people one can imagine :-) It will be our regular spot when we visit down there from Boston.

So glad you enjoyed it! We consider ourselves lucky to be just 15 min. away from such a great establishment. btw, that garlic puree is incredible. I've just found out that it's called "toum" in Lebanon. Even though we don't order chicken, we always ask for some of it to spread on pita.
