Farmers Market Cookbooks

  • 3

Hi all....I have a confession to make. I'm addicted to going to Eastern Market (Detroit's Farmers Market). I've fallen in love with it. Not only the beautiful produce, but the great people and the wonderful feeling of community. But...when I get home I find myself with lots of fresh produce and little idea on how to use it! Do you all have a favorite cookbook or blog that you use??

I also have an herb garden on my patio and it's doing great. I have lots of chives, oregano and lemon thyme. Need some fresh recipes to use my herbs in please!

Thanks Chowhounds!

  1. I would check out the Santa Monica Farmers Market Cookbook, Ottolenghi Plenty, and Chez Panisse Vegetables.

    1. You'll find lots of great recommendations in this recent thread tdmort:
