Help! Need an Italian Restaurant for tmw night in Northern NJ!

Looking for a "red-sauce" type Italian restaurant in the Morristown/Livingston areas. We will be a party of 7 for Father's day. Ideally would be casual, awesome food, not too pricey.

We usually wind up at Godfather's in E. Hanover but I'm a little sick of the noise level there...

Thanks!!

Why? You prefer non-descript, subpar NNJ stripmall Italian food?

Thanks - il villagio sounds ok - can't seem to find any pics on the internet - but Rt 10 is close to everyone, and the menu looks like it would suit him. Nonna's sounds nice as well - is it really that noisy?

I was told Ricci's wasn't great when I lived in the area...maybe it's changed? I don't eat veal...but...what's wrong with the veal there? I'm afraid to ask...

That's funny, there are no pics on the Il Villaggio website. I'd swear I've seen them somewhere . . .Anyway, I know it's not a dive. Nonna's - well, I used to go there often with Dad before he passed and it was always a little tough, because he was hard of hearing - he loved the food though! We always went at lunch time and there were always a lot of office workers there. Maybe it's different on Sundays. Hopefully someone else will weigh in.

Nonna's sounds nice - thanks for the feedback. Sounds very sweet with your dad :)

Probably leaning to just going back to Godfather's with the fam and trying Nonna's on our own. Family is amazingly inflexible - lol

I've never been, but friends swear by Il Villaggio on Rt.10 E in Parsippany, but it's a BYO. I was going to recommend Nonna's in Florham Park, but that's pretty noisy too.
