Macarons in Bulk in SF Bay area?
Hello!
I am trying to find a place where I can buy a huge amount of french style macarons for a reasonable price. Does anybody have any suggestions? I would like to buy at least 200 (or more, depending on the price!), so cheaper would be better without compromising quality. If I could get them for less than $1.50 each, that would be amazing. Please help!
Thanks!

Nicole Lee makes wonderful French macarons. They're strictly an online business and may be able to do bulk orders.

Maybe try this?

We had ordered 600 from them last week. -
Try Artisan Foods of Berkeley. They mostly sell their goods through restaurants and markets (like Berkeley Bowl, so you can try them first) but apparently you can also place an order with them directly. I assume they would give you a price break on a large order like that.

The French Patisserie in Pacifica

This is their bakery and warehouse. They mostly sell frozen desserts to restaurants and caterers, but they are open to the public weekdays approx 9-5. They take cards.
All of their desserts are frozen. The macarons defrost beautifully. The cookies are a little smaller than what you might get at, say Miette, and there is not as much variety of flavors.
Tray of 36 macarons 6 flavors was $20.00 last time I purchased them.
They have a lot of other pastries too, tarts, mousse cakes, petit fours . . .
It's easy to find right off Highway 1 in the north part of Pacifica. When you enter their office they will give you a brochure and one of the employees will take you back to a freezer where they will show you what they have available.
For a quantity of 200 (six trays) I would call ahead.
