foodie stops along La Route Verte

My cousin is going to be cycling along La Route Verte and she is looking for some nice foodie recommendations for: Farnham, Sutton, Sherbrooke, Victoriaville to Quebec City. Any cannot-be-missed spots spring to mind? She especially likes great bakeries and good place to stop for dinner.

In Sherbrooke it's La Table du Chef for dinner. Chef Alain Labrie is the real deal with a history of delighting a fiercely loyal following, including me. You will achieve "favorite cousin" status by coming up with this one.

That sounds perfect - definitely aiming for favourite cousin status!

On the other end of the spectrum, where is the best poutine in Victoriaville? Was it invented somewhere near there?

Here in Sherbrooke, there is also Restaurant Auguste. As for bakeries, I can think of Patisserie Liegoise on King Ouest, La Brioche Pralinee on Frontenac (downtown), Le Snack Bar is also downtown and fun for their innovative poutines, and if she likes chocolates, Choco-La is also not to be missed.
