Hamburg - Rialto Italian

Walked into Rialto without any particular expectations this evening - it looked absolutely beautiful from the outside, glowing like a jewel & reflected on the waters of the Alster canal which flowed past it.

Inside, the service was top-notch - you're greeted like a long-lost relative who'd just returned home. Drink & food orders were promptly taken. A delicious amuse geule of veal & chopped vegetables were served.

Pea soup with fried goat's cheese was substantial, warm & satisfying. Nothing out of the ordinary, just plain old-school honest-to-goodness cooking.

Pan-fried chicken breast, stuffed with chorizos & topped with sun-dried tomatoes, served reclining atop delicious risotto was hugely satisfying. Washed it down with good ole Alsterwasser.
