Has anyone been to Flo's Clam Shack recently?

I have heard mixed reviews about Flo's Clam Shack in Middletown, RI and wondered if anyone has been there recently. Can you share good or bad experiences?

Flo's is fun - but the seafood, especially fried, is much better at Anthony's in Middletown (which really has no atmosphere).

I remember going to Flo's many years and enjoying it, the food was good and it was a fun place. We were in the Newport area recently and Flo's wasn't open, we went to Anthony's in Middletown and thought it was really wonderful, excellent food, fresh and perfectly prepared. The ambiance was part fish market and part serve yourself food but still it had its own character and the really good food made up for it all. I wish I lived nearby, I'd go there at least once a week.

We were in Newport 3 weeks ago and it was not open yet. Were there last year and it wa OK,,,,,,,nothing special..........Ipswich has many better shacks.

Hi,

I was there once it was busy but the ran out of clams so foolish me had the fish and another person had clam strips. Which look like the same stuff I use for fishing for Fluke. Needless to say been there once. never to return plus sthere was some questionable sanitation questions I dont feel comfortable with

Why even respond with out something to back it up. I cant stand people like this. How bout you tell us whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. That might help
