Husband and I are looking for dinner suggestions for this Sat. night within walking distance of Centre Sheraton. Open to pretty much anything, $$-$$$ price range, good food, good atmosphere; patio if possible. Also, any recommendations for drinks and nearby breakfast options would be appreciated.
Thanks so much for your help!

If you can go $$$ price range, why not keep a tenner for a 5-7 min. cab ride into the Plateau or Old Mtl and not limit yourself to the (mostly) mediocrity of downtown? Otherwise, Ferreira on Peel - call in advance for res. with patio seating.

Okay, so if we expanded to Old Mtl, any more suggestions?

Brasserie T and F Bar (Ferreira's less expensive sibling) are within walking distance - and T has a terrasse.

Well Ferreira truly is great if you really want to stay in the downtown business district.

And though I haven't been in many, many years and have not heard anything from this place in roughly the same amount of time, Laurie Raphael on Mansfield used to be a good finer dining option. It may no longer be the case though, perhaps someone else can chime in here.

There's a lot in Old Montreal, depends what kind of meal and evening you fancy...

Le Club Chasse et Pêche... Toqué... Garde Manger... DNA... Le Vieux St Gabriel... Restaurant L'Orignal... Kitchen Galerie Poisson... XO... Da Emma... Graziella... Barroco... Chez l'Épicier... Gandhi...

There are definitely more options in the old town, and these are just some places to look into, depending on the type of meal and atmosphere you're after.
