Vegan/Healthy in Sherman Oaks

Need recommendations for healthy take out near Beverly Glen and Ventura give or take a mile or two. Something a la La Scala's chopped salad or tasty vegan soups.

Suggestions much appreciated.

Sweet Butter on Ventura (between Hazeltine & Woodman) has delicious salads, sandwiches & soups (which probably are not vegan). Many healthy choices as well as some not healthy, but very tasty baked goods for dessert.

About 2.5 miles to Hugo's on Riverside Drive in Valley Village.

I beg to differ on Hugo's.
Nothing particularly healthy and seldom vegan.
Just an allure the place has created for itself over the years, and no one has taken them to the woodshed for it.
Not that I am offering any place better, but you might as well get a salad at Stanley's on Ventura Blvd. for healthy, and it is closer to Beverly Glen.

I am a bit confused by your statement about Hugo's not being particularly healthy and seldom vegan? All 8 of their salads can be ordered (or already are) vegan. At least 8 of their entrees can be ordered (or already are) vegan. Several of their soups are or can be made vegan. And on, and on, and on. Just look at their menu on the website.

If you think they are somehow offering all these dishes as vegan options and then not making them truly vegan, then take it up with the restaurant. But to somehow assert that Hugo's dishes aren't healthy, or not particularly vegan, seems so far off base as to be a complete whiff with that wild swing of the bat.

this was my first thought as well.
if Middle Eastern works for you, there's Carnival on Woodman.

in Encino, there's Salads Galore with a ton of salad options, and a few soups IIRC. if you're willing to go a few miles west to Balboa and Ventura.

and this may seem like heresy, but although Sisley is lousy on many fronts, they have a few good salads (esp the chopped with grilled eggplant) and a nice grilled vegetable app. all avail for pick-up. and easy with parking structure right there.
