Should we have lunch in Geyserville or Healdsburg?
We don't need anything particularly lavish, but delicious is a must! Open to anything from local/California cuisine to a burger or something ethnic. Throw out your favorites and we'll see what strikes our fancy. Thanks, 'hounds!

we've eaten more than once at Diavola, Downtown Bakery, and Bovolo, like them all, but the food is a little better at Diavola. it's also more in a restaurant format, compared to the other two where you order at the counter, if that makes a difference.

I haven't been to Catelli's in Geyserville since they re-opened in their old space, but I used to love it and I've read that the owners are the son and daughter of the original owner and are using all the original recipes. It's old school Italian American done from scratch. In Healdsburg, I like Taqueria El Sombrero. I rarely order anything except the chili relleno because it's so good. I always tell myself that next time I'll try something else, but then I usually can't resist that chili relleno. This is a very basic taqueria, you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table, no frills. For a bit more upscale experience, I really like Ravenous. I've never experienced anything but delicious food and excellent service there. I also like Downtown Bakery and Creamery very much. They offer a small but tastey breakfast and lunch menu, but I often get a napoleon instead of lunch, because they are so big and good that I can't eat both, and I always want to finish every crumb of the napoleon. All the baked goods are excellent, I often take bread, cupcakes, or cinnamon rolls home with me.
