Does the lamb shoulder at Zahav need to be preordered?
My wife sent a group of out-of-town co-workers to Zahav last night and when they tried to order the lamb shoulder they were told that they needed to preorder it. Is this true?

First time l ordered it, it was not preordered. When we got up to leave, it mysteriously was available. If there is a dish on a restaurant's menu that must be, or should be, preordered, it would be nice if thast was mentioned on the menu or the online menu. It is not. The first time I did the Mesibah we did not preorder. But I made reservations last Friday, planning on getting the Mesibah, and when I called a few hours before the reservation to ask a question, I mentioned that we planned on getting it and they said they were out of it. So maybe preordering is wise these days.

They wanted to order the Mesibah tasting menu and the server told them they typically serve the lamb shoulder later in the week and it has to be preordered. They ended up ordering the Tayim tasting menu, but they did see a table with the lamb shoulder and were told it was preordered.
