fresh fenugreek leaves - central london?

Hello I live in the N1 area and work in Soho. Anyone know where I can buy fresh fenugreek leaves to use in my dal as I have got addicted to them but unfortunately don't always have the time to go to the East End to buy them. tried see woo in chinatown today, no luck.
The other nearest I know is Taj stores in brick lane, but if anyone can recommend anywhere closer to west end/angel that would be great

  1. You might want to try Drummond Street near Euston Station...Indian Spice Shop should have Methi Leaves (Fenugreek).

Let us know how you get on...

I'll give it a go too. Failed to find them in Lewisham...but was even more stunned to not find any in Tooting.

Hi there frogprince, many thanks for the tip..finally got to india spice shop and found my Methi! Also picked up some other a result1(Methi didn't look as fresh as the Queen's market (upton Park) ones, but i've put it in water and its perked up.

I'm glad that you found some...and Yes, they won't be as fresh as those in East or West London. And I guess they weren't as cheap either...usually 4 bunches for a pound in west London.

      3. Not in central London, but the 24 hour Asda in Greenwich stocks fresh methi leaves (fenugreek) a lot of the time. A quid for a substantial bunch.
