Recette, Peasant or Locande Verde?

Boyfriend's birthday dinner with my 19 year old son & his 18 year old daughter. We're all foodies and have been to a lot of the top restaurants. We just ate at Marc Forgione for my b'day and loved it! I'm looking for something along those lines- preferably downtown. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you already have a reservation? Locanda Verde books quickly (30 days in advance), and often they'll only give you 6 or 10pm.

Recette or Locanda - Food is slightly better/fancier at Recette, but the room at Locanda is more beautiful.
