Canning classes in CT?

Are there any canning classes offered in CT?

  1. Last year I took a class offered through the Uconn extension service. I took it at the Fairfield County extension location in Bethel, but they were offered throughout the state.

    A quick search turned this up:

      Took one as well, I think it wa through uconn, it was at the west hartford campus. Also took one at MCC which was ok, it was hands on, the wh was more the science / discussion of canning, but I still think it was still better. Are you looking for the basics or more advanced? There are lots of great resources on this board if you have specific questions. I put up 4 jars of strawberry jam tonight and it is one of my joys of summer...
