I ordered the most delicious grilled pork noodle salad from a Vietnamese restaurant and I fell in love. Please someone give me a tried and true recipe for it :) it was grilled pork with vermicelli noodles on top of lettuce, shredded carrots and cucumbers, scallions, cilantro, mint, bean sprouts and dressing that was made with fish sauce. I dont remember what the dish is called, I just remember it had "bun" in the name. If you know how to make this dish please give me the recipe. I'm dying to make it for my family, thanks!!

You're looking for Bun Thit Nuong. You can find a recipe here: http://www.whats4eats.com/pastas/bun-...

Just a minor correction just carrot and cucumber are not blanched but pickled quickly right after peeling. Besides there's no general consensus about the making of the marinade as different restaurants and home cooks have their own secrets. There's also no universal recipe for Nuoc Cham - interpret it to your own liking. And the pork is best grilled on the charcoal to bring out the best flavour.
