Olivier's Butchery to open this Thursday
We were cruising Sunday Streets in Dogpatch and happened upon Olivier's Butchery. It is not yet officially open but will be this Thursday. Olivier himself let us know that he will be offering grass fed beef and special cuts of meat plus sausages. The shop will be open Thursday and Friday evenings and I believe Saturday morning to start. 1074 Illinois (at 22nd St.), 558-9887

While you are there checking out the meat, make a stop at the winery around the corner on 22nd and Mr and Mrs Miscellaneous on the same block. (The Flan flavor with carmel syrup was yummy!)

We've gone to Olivier's 2x and I have to say I'm incredibly impressed with both the quality but also the prices.
The steaks have all been outstanding (and incredibly tender) and
their house made sausages have been stellar. A standout might have been the kielbasa but that's likely because we haven't tried them all yet.
Definitely love/recommend this place.
Olivier is charming and clearly loves his craft.
