After recently spending 10 days on Curacao and eating my way across the place, I have two favorite places on the island. The best bet for your location would be the Wine Cellar. The service and food is phenomenal and it is a family run place (a father and two sons). I can't say enough great things about the meals there and the Dover sole is not to be missed! They also offer a free shuttle service to local hotels (city hotels) if you don't have a car or if you want to get your drink on and not worry about having a designated driver.
My other favorite place which is way over in Westpunt is Landhuis Misje, which has excellent food but served in a more casual atmosphere. Still fine dining but you are at picnic tables outside as opposed to a formal dining room.
