Yakima Valley visit, need breakfast suggestions plus Mexican
I'm heading to a wedding in the Yakima Valley (Sunnyside and Zillah in particular) from Seattle. Looking for a few good breakfast spots, a lunch option for Saturday and an authentic Mexican restaurant.
I browsed Yelp a bit and saw Burger Ranch. Is it worth a visit for a quick lunch? How's the coffee at Guerras?

Sunnysides- Guerras coffee does a great breakfast burrito with chorizo sausage, friendly place and love the coffee.
For lunch in Sunnyside has Darigold which has a Deli restaurant for lunch with ,of course, Darigold ice cream for dessert
The Snipes Mountain Brewery in Sunnyside has above average menu for a pub, not the ordinary fried stuff, great sandwiches plus it is a beautiful building. -
Coming from the west side? Be sure to stop in Union Gap and go to Los Hernandez for tamales, especially if they still have the asparagus ones. It's mostly take out but there are a few small tables. Tamales is their entire menu. Call ahead and see what they have. We loved Essencia bakery, but that's in Yakima. The Yakama Nation casino in Toppenish has a separate restaurant (good thing it's separate because you could die from the cigarette fumes that emanate from the casino proper) which is not bad. On Sundays they have a buffet brunch, which is a bargain. Don't expect top flight food, but quite adequate. Which seems to be about the best you can hope for in that neck of the woods. Would love to hear about it if there are better places.
