The End for Tony Packo's??
It's a shame when an institution has to close it's doors. Just last Easter I visited one of Kentucky's most famous hot dog stands only to find out it closed it's doors a month later after 70 years in business. Seems the owner just wanted to open a new chapter in life.
Often times, especially these times this happens as a result of the economy. People not having the money to eat out as much. However what is happening to cause TP's to close down is almost unforgivable. Grandchildren of Tony himself squabbling and ruining the business such a shame.
I told Mrs. Sippi we'll have to pay a visit on our way home from summer vacation for what may sadly be the last time.
