Pardes REstaurant and Basil Pizza in Brooklyn -

I hope to have time to have a quick meal at one of these today at about 5. Are reservations needed?

It's not that I need to stop for a meal while in Brooklyn, it's that I have been hoping to have a chance to get to both of these. And today I have a reason to be in Brooklyn.

Also, which should I choose? I'll hope to get to both eventually, because I've heard such wonderful things about both. But which should I get to first?

Reservations aren't necessary but can't hurt. I've got into both with no reservations. And at 5 I'd think they'd both have plenty of room; that's late for lunch and early for dinner.

And I am really looking for a chance to go back to Pardes!
