Best Bar(s) in Downtown Charleston

Where is the best bar in Charleston? Looking to the upscale equivalent of a pub crawl.

      If you want to start off with happy hour Social and Pearlz both have great happy hours with food and drink specials, and they're in walking distance of each other. Bin 152 is a fantastic wine bar. If you want a sunset view, the Pavilion Bar is nice but drinks are expensive.

          Husk Bar is great. Like an old speakeasy. No rowdy college crowd. Best bartender in town.

            Hard to say without knowing more about what you're looking for. If you want to see and be seen go to Social or Cypress. If you want lots of beers go to Closed for Business. If you want French snacks go to Rue de John. College crowd will be in the bars along Upper king. I know nothing about late night dance places.
