Family Friendly Restaurants in Newport, RI

Hi everyone. I'm heading up tp Newport for 5 days in August and was looking for some suggestions of some family friendly restaurants. My kids, 10 and 7, are not the usual chicken-finger eating kids. They love to experiment and will try just about anything (at least once!). A friend recommended The Brick Alley Pub and Restaurant for pub food and Perro Salado for Mexican. I'd love some more recommendations. Thanks in advance!

My kids, aged 9 and 10, love Puerini's, The Mooring, The Brick Alley, and Tito's Tacos (technically in Middletown). If you're looking for a more high-end experience, 22 Bowen's is great and kid-friendly. We go there every Christmas Eve and the kids are always happy.

I'd also add Red Parrot because it has a HUGE menu.

I would also recommend the Brick Alley Pub or the Red Parrot. Both locations have an extensive menu that should please the children.
