Good lunch spot between Dana Point and LAX

We are staying at the St Regis and have a flight out of LAX at 6pm. Can anyone suggest a good spot for lunch in between. We like ethnic food and would prefer a locals hangout over a tourist trap. Thanks, this is my first post so apologies in advance if I made any faux pas.

about 5 minutes north of LAX ,
AYARA THAI CUISINE serves good thai food in a pretty environment at very reasonable prices.
also, they are open continuously between lunch and dinner.

If you want something just 5 min south of LAX so that you dont' have to worry about traffic before the flight etc, I recommend BACK HOME IN LAHAINA

Pop over to the 5 and go to Break of Dawn or head up PCH and try the Beachcomber in Crystal Cove (though you will have to wait for a table). BoD has better food but the Beachcomber is the best location in OC.

Petros in Manhattan Beach. Good Greek food with nice patio. Save room for desert and their hot
Loukouma Baby Greek doughnuts drizzled with Greek honey, cinnamon, toasted walnuts
and vanilla ice cream. A block from the beach and 15 minutes from LAX.
