Need help planning our dining on the way to Yosemite

kel1580 Jun 10, 2011 02:35 PM

Hi, my husband and I are planning a trip to Yosemite, following the basic route (580 to I-205, through Manteca) in several weeks. I wonder if anyone has suggestions on places to eat, that are family friendly and not too much a detour from the route? Thanks!

Take a search on the places on the Board in Oakdale.
The cheese place is worth a stop. Last time in Groveland
we tried the Groveland Hotel restaurant and heard that Cafe Charlotte was good.

What did you think of the Groveland Hotel?

Depending on timing, you could stop in Tracy at the Afghan Market for delicious Afghani food. Zero ambiance paired with a friendly family and amazing food. Very convenient to the freeway and a gas station.

        Afghan Market
3258 Tracy Blvd, Tracy, CA 95376
