Does anyone have suggestions for good italian food in the area?I know, its nearly impossible to find good italian around here but I was hoping something have have popped up that I haven't heard of recently.

Villa barone is ok
Pino's is ok
Brioso is very hit or miss, more so miss lately
Jimmy's was ok
Buona Sera was horrible
Sam Vera very average
Christie's very average

btw.. if you happen to be in Princeton around lunch time try Nassau Sushi, their spicy tuna roll is excellent and not made like any other place I've been to in the area.

  1. My two favorites are the following:

    Rigoletto Trattoria , a BYOB in Middletown - www.rigolettotrattoria.com

    Piccola Itlaia - in Ocen - www.piccolaitalianj.com

    1. Much better than "decent" .... Casa Giuseppe.

      Iselin, NJ 08830 (Middlesex County)

With the rollback pricing (50%) on food & wine, now is the best time to give Casa Giuseppe a try or to return. Wonderful restaurant!

      2. Rigoletto an old favorite and a BYOB

Mosutto's our new favorite offers their wine for sale with dinner at very reasonable pricing or if you care to BYOB you may but a corkage fee is charged.
