OC Dessert places for takeout??

Help! Going to a bbq in Newport Beach tonight and I need to bring dessert. Anyone know of any great dessert places where I can pickup a good pie, cupcakes, cake, or something else? Driving down from Culver City, so if there are places in Costa Mesa or Newport it would be perfect...

I would pick up some strawberry croissants for the bbq at Cream Pan in Tustin. This is my go to dessert for parties. It isn't along the 405 though, off of the 5.

Sprinkles in Newport Beach for some cupcakes, Susie Cakes in Newport Beach for cupcakes or cakes.

Zov's has amazing desserts...locations are in Tustin, Newport Coast and Irvine. Get the Chocolate Bombe.....fantastic!
