Silver Spoon Buffet in East Windsor

After my one year at an apartment in West Windsor, I am now in the extreme western edge of Monroe Township near Twin Rivers.

Last night I had a chance to try out the new Silver Spoon Buffet in the shopping center with ShopRite and the movie theaters. Five years ago, it was CJ Garden Buffet which was very good, and then it became a sushi buffet place which I never tried since dinner buffet was $18 or something like that.

It is your typical buffet, except there wasn't any crablegs, but that can be explained by the fact M-Th dinner buffet is $9.99. I don't eat the crablegs anyway, because they are too messy, though I have seen people act like hogs where they are concerned.

Overall, for the price, it is not bad. Slightly more selections then the China Star buffet in the Stop&Shop shopping center in South Brunswick.

I hope they make a go of it, since I need a buffet place nearby.

I live in East Windsor and will be trying this soon. I remember the former restaurants; it seems no one can make a go of it. It is a large space, which most likely means high rent. I will let you know if I liked it or not. Hopefully it does well and my taxes come down too (OK, just kidding as to the latter).
