Help! Birthday plans ruined by rain sunday.. where's a cheap place I can bring 20 to 50 people?

Hey all,

I planned on having a birthday party sunday in central park.. bringing an ipod boombox, hanging in the park, etc. However it looks like its going to rain. It's tough to say how many people are going to come, it could be 20 and it could be 50. Where is a good cheap place.. doesn't necessarily have to be a restaurant, I can bring people on a sunday afternoon? Need to think of something fast. Any ideas?

Thank you thank you,

Now that your plans have changed, perhaps it would be a good idea to find out exactly how many are planning to attend. Obviously, it will be easier to find a venue for 20 than for 50. For example, Daisy May's BBQ would be doable with 20, not so much with 50. Hill Country BBQ is huge and could work with a lot more than 20 (though 50 could still be a problem), but it isn't exactly cheap. The fact that these two places have cafeteria-style service helps with big groups since in both cases, each person would get his or her own check.
