Does anyone know of a liquor store, bodega, etc. where one can buy Kingfisher (Indian) beer? Cooking a huge Indian meal this weekend, and it will be just the thing to drink with the food. Many thanks!

I cannot confirm, but the best selection of beer I know of is at the Bowery Whole Foods. It may be worth a call over there to see if they carry it.

Kingfisher is easily found in any of the bodegas near the 6th Street Indian restaurants. Many are BYO and the beer selections of the nearby bodegas are full of Indian brands, esp Kingfisher. Go to 1st Ave between 6th and 7th or 5th and 6th.
Though I can't confirm, I would think the same is true over in Curry Hill as well. Check out the bodegas there.
