Nice restaurant for lunch off I-95 near Trenton?

We're headed to Maryland tomorrow from Connecticut and I think we'll be ready for lunch somewhere around Trenton. Any ideas? I love unique lunch/brunch places. Thanks for the help.

Just off Exit 4 is the Redstone Grill, a really good burger and a wonderful steak sandwich.

Depending on the weather there may be backups at exit 7A for Great Adventure theme park.

There is major construction on the stretch from exit 8 to 6 on the NJ Turnpike.

Try to get past all of that if you can before lunch.

Exit 4 has many chain style restaurants.

I had lunch yesterday at the Dublin Square pub in Bordentown. It was pretty good, and I'd go back again. It's right off exit 7 of the turnpike, almost across the street from Mastoris Diner.

Trenton is not right off the Turnpike, you'll kill some time just getting there and back to Turnpike. Exit 8 is Hightstown and there are a few local places including a reasonably good diner about 10 minutes away (Americana). You might find you're way to Bordentown where there are some interesting places (Olivers). There is a huge diner (Mastoris Diner) down Rt 130 from Turnpike/Rt 195 in Bordentown and you can find your way back onto Turnpike at 7 or 7A.
